Dudlight,this is actually from Nigeria - British West Africa,as the first British West African coins were issued in 1912.The coins of Nigeria - British West Africa were issued between 1907 & 1911.There is a 1d. dated 1906,but this is extremely rare.The 1911 coinage is the key one,not only because it was the only King George V issue from that collection of entities,but because it is so highly priced.
