I have a 1909 and a 1910 penny. They don't have that artist initial at the bottom; they're just normal coins. How much would they be worth?
Just don't rely on them. The PCGS pricing guide is generally way, way high, as PCGS uses it as a gimmick to push just how wonderfully their own slabs do on the market! 1909 and 1910 no-VBD Philadelphia cents are very common, and except in the highest grades are not worth a whole lot. If you can't find a particular coin in the completed auctions of places like Heritage, count on it, they aren't valuable. Next best is completed EBay auctions, but for low end coins those values are somewhat skewed by the effect of S/H.
$1.75-$2.00 for the 1909 and 30-40 cents for the 1910. does the 1909 have a mintmark at the bottom? if so its worth about $75-$80. and if the 1910 has a mintmark is is worth $8-$10.
Beat me to it lol. That is about accurate. Still, worth more than one cent! Did you buy these or find them? Just curious. Phoenix
Welcome to the forum sinmav. Here is another price guide simialar to pcgs, but I think a little more accurate. Might be a better one out there, but here is this one for now: http://www.bestcoin.com/united-states-coin-pricing-guide.htm Phoenix
