My father in law was just going thru his junk drawer and he came across this liberty nickel, He was kinda wondering if it was worth enough too retire on....so is it? LOL but yeah he was wondering if it worth more than .05 cents. so let the judging of the coin begin. I can tell it has been cleaned but besides that, i cant venture a guess at grade.

I'd give it a VF20. 1908 is a very common date and very inexpensive. To sell this coin to a dealer may not give you enough money to buy french fries from McDonalds $1 menu. I'd guess you'd get around 75 cents from a dealer if he's having a good day.
