It's hard to tell if the tone is natural or due to the photo/lighting. Perhaps if you put a naturally toned coin (known good specimen) adjacent to your coin, it'll help establish if the color here is natural or unnaturally bright. Coin should grade pretty high, but would be cleaned/details if that damage on the obverse isn't a superficial stain.
No my camera is very bright for some reason here’s a pic of it next to a regular Indian head, maybe that’ll help
I’m thinking XF details, cleaned (older) and possibly damaged if those aren’t stains. Some look like scratches which would be too bad. LIBERTY looks good and design details still appear in the feathers. Reverse looks better with light wear in the shield and less dirt/Verdi than the Obverse.
Is anybody else worried about authenticity? I'm not liking the letters in STATES, nor the denticles on either face.
On those more expensive dd/mm specimens I prefer a slabbed coin. Counterfeit coins are more prevalent and sometimes passed off as a problems coin. This looks real but better photos might do it better justice and allow a better group confirmation. It’s a nice coin to have.
