In my humble opinion that would be an allright price as long as it was certified by PCGS or NGC , possibly ANACS. I wouldnt go much higher than that though-

Dealer bid price on a certified one in AU58 is around $11,000

 

You might ask your banker and investment broker.

Its funny that you started this tread. Today I got a message on my voicemail from a guy named Vicktor Derose from Gold bond internatioal today asking me if i wanted to buy a or Both of there two 1907 high releif wire rim St.Gaudens MS63 at the low low price of only 40,000 each. lol

1. I never buy coins over the phone unless im calling.

2. WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND DROPS 40 grand on a UNSLABBED 1907 SG.lol

But if thats the trending value (40 G's) Id say you got a pretty nice deal.
