Here is another out of my collection. I was looking closely at the date and saw a possible RPD on the 9 and 0. Am I seeing a RPD or just some kind of machine doubling? I don't see the doubling anywhere else on the coin, just the two numbers in the date. This is a fire red with hints of natural purple toning on the obverse. Anybody want to take a stab at what this might grade?

It certainly is a beautiful coin, but I can't really tell if it's a repunched date... (I'm assuming that's what you're asking)

It has the potential for a repunched date. The only thing I have is the cherry pickers guide and it does not show anything for 1907. You would need Rick Snow's books to attribute the coin. Now for the grade - I would say AU details based off those pictures. The picture makes the coin look flat and lusterless - and a touch of wear on some of the high points. All of this could just be the pictures - are these scans? That could be part of the problem. Most people will not venture a grade without seeing both the obverse and reverse. Just my humble opinion.
