1907 Indian & 1940 lincoln

    I'm pretty sure the Lincoln is a clipped planchet but what about the Indian cent? Is it really a blank or just ground? Some of the darker areas are raised and not completely flat. opinions welcome.

    The wheat is a clipped planchet. You can see the Blakesly effect on the E Pluribus on the reverse. As for the indian head, I have no clue. Looks like it was ground down from all the scratches on the reverse. Not an expert though so I'll let someone else chime in on that :)

    Yeah taking a closer look at it vs the PCGS photograding site it just doesn't look right. The edge reeding(?), the eye, mouth, necklace, etc... all look "off".

    Yea, the indian looks strange, the denticles are off, the lips, the lettering. it is definitely not real.

    The Lincoln is a genuine clip. But the 07 is definitely not authentic.
