here are two of my coins that I wanted to share and see what y'all thought of them. I am new to coin collect (well just got back into, collect as a child) and I got really happy to see this forum.

Without seeing the reverse, they look to grade G 4. Welcome to CoinTalk and enjoy the hobby.

Welcome to Coin Talk. The general public really got their use out of those old V Nickels. The 25¢ is 90 % silver as you probably know. Did you have a
    Red Book before?

Check your local library to see if they have a copy of the "Red Book". Even an older one will get you started in the right direction. If they don't have one you may be able to request it as another library may send it on loan.
