Can anybody tell me what this is worth?

The coin has quite a lot of wear.. The date is only just visible, as is the text "Half Crown". The shield image is visible with quite a bit of detail, but still faded slightly.

On the back of the coin, the head shape is very visible, but the only real detail still visible is the nose. 90% of the text on the back is clearly visible as well, the other 10% is almost totally faded.

I would post pictures but I can't find the charger for my camera.

    Cheers,
    Jack

In that condition it's roughly worth the silver value.

as a collectable coin it sounds to be worth very little it would be better to scrap it.

    A couple of £ - a gap-filler until a better one comes along :)

edward half crowns in poor condition usually retail between 50p and £2 depending on where you buy them
