I have a 1905 Korean half won and was wanting to sell it, but I have no idea what the value is. I've seen the prices range from 400's to 1500. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I honestly do not think it's dated 1905. Instead it's 1906 as it's Gwangmu year 10. Value wise - difficult. I think while it doesn't look cleaned, there seems to be a big scratch on the reverse. Difficult to tell as the photo is overexposed. I personally do not think the value is that high as 1906 is more common than 1905. I say it might be 200 but please do not quote me on that. You might be able to use ebay as a reference. This is an example that sold a while ago. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NCOFFIN-KOR...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
