I'd guestimate your coin to be in AU50 condition.

RedBook for a 1905 Indian Head Cent AU50 is $20. But that's a retail price.

Right now on eBay there are coins similar to this one going for $12-18 on a BIN.

i have done the research myself, sir. it is often times a good idea to get a variety of different opinions on a subject. that is how you learn things. i know for a fact that i have done much more research on coins than you have. that is the truth, like it or not. now go on and bother someone else who has the time for your nonsense.

Again there needs to be some work on the white balance in the photos if the photos are yours, it is making it a bit tough to tell.

I think I might see some evidence of cleaning on the obverse, not sure.

Fair enough, but since you insist on posting iffy (at best) images, what do you expect anyone to learn?

Oh lord.... and I've no doubt that you've "researched" more than everyone else, not only on this but all forums combined, and are simply trying to educate we lowly idiots, right? I'll concede and forgo the peeing contest, Mr. Superhero...

first of all, the photos are not mine, they are the sellers photos, just like they always are. i have mentioned this numerous times on other threads. second of all, correct me if i am wrong, but wasn't it you who came to me to post your insults? just like you have done so many other times, for no real reason. note that i do not go around posting insults about you on cointalk, unless of course you insult me in the first place. that is reasonable. you are not reasonable. you make up lies and then try to spead that gossip like somebody who has nothing better to do with their time. you have not said much on my postings about the coins themselves, just personal insults. what can anybody learn about coins from those postings of yours? if i didn't know better, i would think that you might be jealous of me? i have no idea why. i will post many links to just a fraction of the coin reasearch that i have done, i will post them here on cointalk. of course, you will continue to make up things about me anyway. typical 2014 type behavior.

There is no way to tell if the coin has been cleaned from those images.

I'm seeing a pink holder. What color is the coin?
If you have the coin in hand and say it's cleaned, that's cool.

By the pictures I would assume cleaned & artificially re-toned, it would slab "Genuine". Value? Its a problem coin that is commonly available without problems, so it really isn't of value except to a beginner or curiosity seeker.

Being as most of the photos you post are of a similarly poor quality, added to the fact that some of the coins you start threads about soon appear in the for sale section, it was a reasonable assumption. However, if true this was my mistake and you have my apologies.

Consider this a correction because you are mistaken. First of all, if you find fact insulting, I am sorry, but there are a number of members here who are seemingly unable to do things for themselves. This observation was not solely aimed at you, and this is why I responded directly to the other gentleman. However, and while there is absolutely nothing wrong with asking for opinions, I think we both know that these threads are not strictly for educational purposes.

As for my supposedly insulting you "so many other times", as I've said before, all the threads are archived, including all of those in which I repeatedly tried to help you and was rewarded with the same nonsense accusations as now. There is not a boogeyman around every corner, Coins, and anything said/posted that on the surface may not seem complimentary does not need to be misconstrued and twisted into some sort of personal attack.

What "lies" and "gossip" about you have I spread on this board? Again, it's all there in the history.

As for not commenting on the coin, do you remember the last time I "said much in [your] postings about the coins themselves"? I appallingly made a polite suggestion and provided a link that I thought might be of help to you, yet instead of taking at face value, you started with the same BS accusations and finger pointing you have here. Should I dig up the link? Why would I want to participate when this is the result?

you want nothing more than to argue. that is what you are always trying to do. you refuse to listen to any replies that do not suit you. talk about reading things into a thread, you started all of this because i posted photos of a coin, just as you have done so many other times before. why don't you go out and find yourself a woman who will listen to your nonsense, instead of posting it here on cointalk.

Considering all that you've "shared" here, you just might want to think of following your own advice. ;)

It's always a pleasure to hear from you, Coins...

Please don't take this wrong but this quote fits you as well. You don't listen. You just get mad and learn nothing in the process. I don't reply to many of your threads because of it.

well, for some unknown reasons, chicks like me. although i have no idea why. they are often times pestering and badgering me, asking me questions. i can't even check my mail without the neighbor woman (who is quite attractive) saying "hi dave" (not sure how she knows my name, because i never mentioned my name to her.) i don't encourage her though. i just say hello and keep on walking back to my house.
