I recently acquired a 1904 Morgan silver dollar while visiting my grandfather. I took it to a coin dealer and he said it was cleaned. Any idea what it is worth?
A little bit better date with very close to unc. details but the cleaning hurts it. Maybe $35? Maybe a little more if the color is accurate and you find the right buyer...
Probably the reality is a lot of collectors would be put off by the cleaning and would not buy it. I wouldn't. But I could see a dealer pricing it at a modest premium over melt if no circulation wear.
