I posted here awhile back asking questions about how to go about getting this pennP graded and received great advice. I took in the penny to a coin dealer and they said if this coin could be graded as it is graded now it could be valued at at aleast 5 digits. So I'm sending it in to the graders next week and will let you all know what the outcome will be. Thanks Jim,,
I'm not sure who's slab this is but I seem to detect a carbon spot under the letter "T" in "Cent" and some wear on the ribbon that might preclude this from a 67. I'll wait for the others to chime in. I'm not sure how strict the standards are for these.
Looks like a second carbon spot on the ribbon and a spot spot of corrosion on the bottom of the right wreath and on the edge of the reverse in that same area. The obverse photo is too dark. I suggested in the other thread what to do with photos.
