Here's a find from eBay. It's an interesting variety--there is a very deep file mark through the eye. Surprisingly, I was the only bidder, perhaps due to the seller's lousy picture (after mine). Most cameras take sorta bad coin pics by the default setting, so you have to setup the lighting and contrast just right to bring out the best aspects. Here's the seller's picture. A lot of cameras over-sharpen details like nicks, color variation, and in general make toned bronze coins far too light. Perhaps it's why nobody noticed the variety...or they didn't like the mark across the eye. It's really not that bad though...
This is a pretty tough variety. Nice find for a good price. I have found 2 in about that condition, maybe a little better. Thats after a year of looking for them. Ironically, they were found in small lots by the same seller in the same week. I have only seen a few in mint state and they go for pretty significant premiums. Well over 3x normal.
