Where did you find it? I've got one that I recently had authenticated by PCGS because there are a lot of counterfeits out there.
Will post picture in a.m. Found it in a suit case in some kind of barber collector book with about 20 other barber quarters. The set had a sticker on it that said Gimbel's rare coin collection Milwaukee
The coins were more than likely purchased at Gimbel's department store in Milwaukee. Many of the major department stores back in the day had rare coin and stamp departments. If authentic this coin could be very valuable.
It appears that the old lady who actually held on to the book allowed other people to handle it and now the 1901-S, 1892-S and the 1913-S along with several other coins in the set is now missing. They did some checking online themselves and discovered the value and just removed them. Since they are family I decided to butt out. I'm going to attempt to show pictures of whats left of the set.
Not sure of the other semi-key dates, but I know that if you have a 1909-O quarter in that is in nice shape it could potentially be worth several hundred to several thousand dollars. Looking forward to the pics of what is left Welcome
