Hey guys! New to forum here but not new to coin collecting. I was reffered tothe forum by another metal detectorist on a different forum. Recently I was detecting ad found the find of my life. A 1901 S Barber quarter! I'm not very concerned about it being authentic or not but I am looking for your opinions on what you think it will be graded as. The coin was recently sent in to Great Collections where the grading services will be handled before it goes up for sale. It has substantial environmental damage from being in the high Idaho desert ground for so long. The reverse in particular exhibits porosity and some verdigris. Do you think it will be "un-gradeable"? or do you think it will get a "details" grade? I'm hoping for a details. This coin really is a great looking coin, especially in person. Thanks for the help! My concern is between the environmental damage and the scratch, that they just wont grade it.

Looks like die pair A. I think you'll be ok with a details holder.

I have seen you on that forum, I'm Coinman123 over there, and congrats on the banner, I would love to find one of those. That is an amazing key date. It would probably come back as VF-35 Details, Environmental Damage.

I've submitted a lot of coins for grading. Is a problem coin for sure but not horrible. I've seen much worse graded
