Holy cow that's a beautiful coin! I've rarely seen IHs that maintain the majority of its original red color!

Yes it is a beautiful shiner indeed. I'm thinking MS 62 or 63, anyone else have thoughts?

Welllllllll, first thing I noticed when I opened the thread is the gouge on the neck, Something going on between the F and A, rubs on the cheek, upper eye brow, and hair above the ear. Then I went to the Rev. looked at the shield. While it does appear that the coin has nice luster that in itself does not make it a MS coin. I am in the AU grade with this one, with details. Not a bad coin but it has an issue that would make me set it aside if I were looking to purchase an MS Indian.

Yes all the above mentioned are unfortunate, especially the cheek rub and gouge on the throat. Still a nice coin for the bargain hunter I suppose.
