    Omg yes! What a steal!!!!!

  8. Looks like a G6 to me. Maybe pushing a VG8, but I doubt it. Hard to tell by those photographs alone. It is a slightly better date. It's a decent price if problem free.

So...how much is it worth? lol I am new to this coin, I collect pennies usually

  10. I would say you probably paid about the right price for it based on the photographs. Again, if it is a problem free coin $30-$40 depending on grade.

I'd say it is a $25-30 coin, but you got a pretty good deal on it I would say.

It is hard to tell the grade from the low-resolution photographs, but it appears that "L" and "TY" are visible in the headband. If that's not just my imagination, and the coin is problem-free, then I would say it's VG. Coin World Trends (Coin Values) shows a retail value of $35 in VG.

  17. Never trust eBay for value quotes. There's a great premium on a lot of eBay items.

Well he could always sell that coin on eBay. So I would consider that fair market value.

I think you were looking at the 1901-O quarters. Contrary to the thread title, the coin in the OP is actually a half dollar, which is worth much less than the 01-O quarter in VG condition.

I'm not a knowledgeable barber collector, i usually specialize in Canadian halves and silver dollars. But Is this a semi-key date?

In lower grades such as the one in this thread, the 01-O half dollar is a *slightly* better date, but it's not what could be considered a "semi-key".
