Hello again! Well, spent some time at the Silver Dollar show in St. Charles, MO today, and got a chance to look at some auction results for my 1901 DDR. As a result, I feel like I've gotten a better gauge of its true value. (I've also learned that coin dealers might as well be employees of PCGS, because any time you want to sell a coin, they "wish it was in a PCGS holder.") Anywhoo, enough of my whining. I'd like to sell my 1901 DDR VAM3. PCGS Price Guide is $1,700. Recent Heritage and other auctions for the last few years are literally all over the place...VF examples for $700 and XF examples for $1,500. I was asking quite a bit more, but I'm going to adjust that to $1,250 shipped or a trade for a 1 oz gold coin/bar. I'll also consider trades for 90%, 40%, war nickels, ASE, etc. But my price point has been adjusted to a more realistic $1,250 shipped. It's a great variety in a better-than-decent problem-free grade. It will make a great addition to your collection - so send me that PM and let's get this coin sold!
