Just received this from a seller in France. It is a 1901 "Maundy Money" set. Last year of Queen Victoria's reign. It contains 4 small silver coins: 1 Pence, 2 Pence, 3 Pence and 4 Pence. The coins are starting to tone, particularly the 1 and 2 P. A US Cent is shown for scale.

I don't think these are TOO common with their box. But there were over 8000 made this year, most of them sold to collectors rather than distributed.

Any and all comments are welcome!

    Nice find !

It seems like coins in these type of cases tone very nicely.
    I have a few myself.

    Thanks for sharing.

I actually just saw one at the El Paso Coin Show, but the gentleman who owns it has quite a collection and owning one of those sets is something he is very proud of.

Always more collectable with a dated Box. The boxes being supplied by Jewellers and sold with a complete set. Look's like its been left alone, nice set
