A bison on the face of this of this 1901 Legal Tender is flanked by portraits of explorers Meiwether Lewis, at left, and William Clark, right. The back design features a female allegorical figure in a vignette known as Columbia.

    Enjoy,

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff:

Hope you do not mind the correction? The Vignette is actually known as "Progress"....there are 3 vignettes with the same name that I know of, the other 2 is of a male allegorical figure turning a wheel and a Canadian Allegorical figure on a banknote..
What a Beauty it is as well.
Hope all is well with you?

    Regards,

    Rick
