    Could be a minor struck through, probably not much of an added premium, although it is cool.

    vdb on the reverse under the stalks?

    Mintmark appears to be MMS-002, so I do not think it is a 1909-s. My guess would be 1919-S. the VDB initials would be located on the shoulder, although the coin may be too worn to tell.
    Keep up the hunt!

    Vdb is on the shoulder not the back so 1919 :(

    Yeah, I agree with all of the others. 1919 was a pretty bad year it seems for grease filled dies. I have seen literally hundreds of them in various grades with date/legends missing. Maybe they were just still drunk from celebrating the end of WWI? IDK.
