1899 Morgan

    Several years ago I bought a batch of junk Morgan and Peace dollars. Paid about $12 each for them. Among them was this 1899 Morgan. This is one of the rarer ones, cataloging at $130 in G4. I know my coin is not that good but I collect mainly world coins and I am not well versed in Morgans so I really have no idea how to grade it or what its approximate value my be.

    Any opinions would be welcome.

    I'd say it is AG-3. Even thought it's in bad shape, it's still worth what you said.
