1899 Indian Head Cent

I am stunned to find this in a roll. As I looked, I thought maybe a Canadian. Although rough looking, a surprised find. I find Canadians, dimes etc, but this one is a first!

Nice roll find. Every once in a while an Indian Head Cent finds its way into a roll. Nice find.

Finding an IHC is more exciting than finding a Wheat Cent. Unless that Wheat Cent is a key or semi-key date or is a nice error.

I remember finding my first IHC in a roll back in the 60's. That got me hooked on that series.

My hubby orders from New Orleans vault through brinks. I’m figuring those cents are from everywhere while they visit there.

 

Yes for sure… I wish they were all like this one along with others in Dec. I had posted it then. To find a special date looking like this one… lol!
