I have A 1898 Indianhead penny has been in my family for over 30 years and has only been handled a few times there is a stamp on the upper side non-face side underneath the wreath I cannot find anything about this mark as there are no mid marks for this year and I cannot find anything on errors for this Mark I cannot make out what the stamp is but it is to symmetric for this to be just random damage
