1898 $10 Eagle There's a dealer near me selling an 1898 $10 gold eagle that looks to be in somewhat circulated condition, with some bag marks (3-5 per side) on the face and the back. It's in decent shape otherwise, doesn't really appear to have been cleaned, and I was wondering what I should be looking to pay for it, in terms of percentage over spot. I'll try to get a few pictures of it next Friday, when I get back home.
Hmm, I just found this remarkably similar ebay auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-1898-US-10...em&pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item20b07a5a2d Nearly identical condition, with a bit more luster than the one I found. I think I'll use it to judge the value of that coin.
