Hi all, im fairly new to Cointalk but ive been collecting coins for about 5 years now. My latest coin im looking at is a 1897-S 20$ liberty gold coin in AU-58 and its slabbed by PCGS. Its quite a beautiful coin and i need it to complete my type set of liberty gold coins (ive got a 1$, 2.5$, 5$, 10$ in similar condition.) Unfortunately I had to put it on layaway with the dealer because im still in high school and the 1140$ price tag was to much at one time . Anyways just thought I would share, im excited at the prospect of completing this type set which has taken me about 3 of my 5 collecting years to complete. I can post pictures of my current set but I wont be able to get the 20$ for a while but when I do I will be sure to share it with everyone. :)

That's awesome! I'm proud of you as well. I wish I would have been working on this hobby in highschool. I'd be a lot further ahead with it by now and I'd have a lot more to show for the money I made.

That'll be a set most here will be envious of, including myself. I love the Liberty head gold pieces. Be sure to post pics.

Awesome coins! Congrats! I just clicked on my username and was re-visiting threads I posted to over the week, mainly looking for this one.

Looks like you got photobucket to work. Here's a couple easy tips on it. In your photobucket account, there's a list of links above each pick. If you click on edit, that will bring up a new page which will allow you to rotate or re-size. The actual file size is automatically reduced when you put them on there. That re-size is just to make the pic smaller so it doesn't come up huge on the thread.

Next, if you copy and paste the bottom link (begins with IMG), and paste that in your post, the picture will show up in the thread. You'll get the hang of it.

Great gold set you've got going there.
