Hi guys, I'm new to this, but I've been collecting coins for as long as I can remember. I have a small, and modest collection. Though I watched a tv show on coins and what they might be worth, what to look for that kinda thing and well...

I have a bunch of American Pennies that are in pretty good shape, 2 of which are Indian head pennies.
They are dated 1895 and 1901. And I have about 30 or so odd Lincoln head pennies with little D's and S's on them, some are with out. If you could help me out, I'm just interested in if they might be worth something, and if they were where would be a good place to sell them. Thank you for your time and interest.

Welcome to Cointalk. I'm a newbie myself but this place seems to be filled with nice and knowledgeable folks. I plan on sticking around and hopefully you will too. As for your question on what your coins are worth; try this website http://numismedia.com/fmv/fmvcents.shtml ...they do a pretty good job of listing fair market values for U.S. coins. Your coins would be considered "Indian cents" and "lincoln cents" so that is the subcatagory you need to click on. Then just look by date & grade.

Welcome to the forum!!!!! The values of your Indian head cents and Lincoln cents will depend greatly on the grade of the coins. Values of these can have a great deal of range. If your Indian cents are average circulated they're probably worth $2-3 dollars a piece at best. The values of your Lincoln cents will depend alot on the dates and grades of the coins. If you could list the dates and mint marks (D stands for Denver,Colorado and S is for San Francisco, California) it would be a great help. Posting pictures of the coins is even better as long as they are fairly large pics and pretty clear. If you cant then list the dates and mintmarks and we'll try to give you a ballpark figure.

Hey guys here are some photos.

K I got some photos, apparently you can only put up 5 photos max, so I put all the coins I am wondering about into 2. Hopefully they are good enough. You can read the dates on everything save for the cents. Thanks for the help... I know there are only the two indian head coins on there but if they're only worth around $2 or so, then I imagine, the others I have should be below that. :(

    Well here they are...
