Its got an interesting die clash thats for sure. i don't like that hit on the check but the reverse is nice
ms64. Don't know if the scratches are enough to warrant "details/scratched." BTW that's an 1884 Morgan not a 1894 per the thread title. You had me excited.
The scratch above the 3 left stars appears to be from a staple, and it would definitely cause a no-grade. The gouge on her cheek doesn't look like anything that may have happened either at the Mint or while in bag storage. It's too straight, so I would think it might be considered damage, too. Chris
Not even on it's worse day is that a 65 with that distracting mark on the cheek, the scratch under the chin, and behind the bonnet. Details, Scratched maybe a Damaged, no grade.
UNC details at P/N/A; Numerical grade at SEGS, etc. It looks like the moon at a particular phase with the lighting.
1884 Anacs or Icg would grade it and not body bag it due gouge or obv scratch. MS-63 but maybe MS-64 as the rev is very nice. but also maybe detailed as scratched or die gouge or even a Vam if Anacs grades all MD w/Vam detail for free. you never know mood the graders will be in when they look at this one if you get graded. :kewl:
