Sorry, but can not really help to answer that if I do not see the entire Morgan's obverse and reverse.

I'm pretty sure it would be worth somewhere in the vicinity of [...]2[...].

Could you tell us about how much a car is worth based on a picture of its right front tire and the tailpipe?

Sorry, I'm getting punchy tonight. Without even knowing the mint mark, never mind seeing full obverse and reverse photos, there's just no way to answer. (Unless someone here can tell from these peephole views that it's a fake, like the "1799-CC" you showed in the other thread...)

Like I stated in the other post, maybe the author of the post meant 1899.

You mean as in "1899-CC", which also would be a nonexistent date? But one of the jigsaw-piece photos clearly showed a "7 9 9" date.

For this one, it could be anything. I can tell that it's a Morgan, or imitating one, but that's it.

I'd be willing to bet it's counterfeit,
    even without seeing a photo/scan
    of the full coin.

Please do not make duplicate threads. One is enough. You can post photos to an existing thread. Duplicate was removed. Jim

sorry guys I can't get my scope to take a bigger pic. or I would have posted the whole coin, but I'm sure they where fake although they wouldn't stick to a magenet, they where light from what my book said the weight should have been, the girl had 4 coins two 1799's,1863,and a 1899, they really looked like the real deal but I'm not even as good with coins like you guy's and I didn't want to loose that much money buying them, been there done that and didn't want to go there again any time soon.
