How much would a slightly worn penny from 1893 be worth?
And by sligtly worn I mean I can just make out the date and a few words on it.
    THanks.

If it is really a penny (a large British copper coin about the size of a US half dollar) then it has little value. Tons of them were made. It will have some value in the higher conditions. I don't have my reference with me to let me know exactly how much right now.

If it is a US 1 cent coin (Indian Head cent) than it is worth between $2 and $20 depending on its condition.

Pictures (or at least country of origin) would help when asking for a coin's value.

Slightly worn means AU, if you can barely make it out what it is its heavily worn

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

You have described a coin which, on the Sheldon Scale with 70 as perfect, would be graded from P-0 (poor) to AG 2 (about or almost good).

Coins in that condition have essentially no numismatic value unless they are extremely rare, which would not apply to your example no matter what country it's from.
