Here's an 1893 NGC PR66BN IHC I picked up last year in Long Beach. It's in an old "Fatty" holder. The white scuffs are on the slab. The images are by Bob Campbell and I think he did an excellent job.
I like the PF IHC's. I have one as well. IMO, this is a beautiful series. I'll pick some up on occasion, but I'm not putting a set together yet. Here are a few that are in my collection: This was my first. It's more RB than Red. I'm sure I overpaid because of it, but I don't really care. I'm not sure what happened to the reverse pick. It's no longer in my pb account. Photos are WAY over exposed. I think they were trying to capture the toning for the auction listing. This one has some nice purple toning.
Great stuff. I like proof IHCs myself. Have only owned one, and that was years ago, but it was a beaut. So, of course is yours. Nice to see another familiar "face" from my CU days over here on CT!
Yes the image of the 1907 is WAAY overexposed. The colored border on the front label barely shows at all.
