Recently purchased PCGS MS66 1893 columbian with clear doubling of date, 7 other letters on reverse and the 4 in 1492. I know little of errors in the commem series. Is this common? Where can I learn more? There was no mention of double die on the holder or from the dealer.

There is a repunched date listed in Cherrypickers' guide for 1892 and then a comment: " Many 1893 issues have a repunched 3 at the top. These are more interesting than collectible. " Joe
