1892 super thin 1.2 grams

Very poor condition but both sides visible. I read they are suppose to weigh 3.1 grams. Anything to this? Thanks

1.2 grams? There's your answer (or your scale is off or you're misreading it).

 

Rechecked and tarred the scale says 1.2g. Its super thin feels like i could easily snap it

 

Well, I'd say it's not authentic or it's been shaved somehow. Perhaps a science experiment gone bad. At 1.2g, not much to think about.

 

Try taking it to your LCS and ask for their opinion.

It looks like it might have been given an acid bath. That is just my opinion.
