i have matched this coin online as 1891P VAM 2. but this one seems to also have an extra eye lid below,and a double eye to. Is that normal for this variety? the coin is a solid VF30 problem free coin. can any 1 tell me 1891P VAM 2 values? any info will help greatly. thanks, and happy hunting.
If you can post pics. The VAM-2 is a top 100 VAM, but there are many examples in Uncirculated condition, so the premium in circulated condition isn't that large. There are a few on eBay you might want to keep an eye on: 1891 vam 2, Coins Paper Money, Philadelphia. Great deals on eBay! (2 in auctions, and there is one in an ANACS holder VF35 for $50 BIN).
