1891 S Morgan dollar, worth getting slabbed?

    This is more of a family heirloom than something that will be sold off. I'm wondering if getting it graded would be a good idea. Or would a nice case be a better option?

    nice coin. I wouldn't get it graded, the cost doesn't gain you much in value. if it's a family coin you probably won't sell it any way. just get a nice single coin holder and enjoy.

    XF, not worth submission fees, shipping, and insurance. Nice 2x2 and keep for them memories.

    I agree that it's been cleaned but I see it as MS details. Probably not worth getting slabbed though.
