1891 Dominican Republic 5 Francos, Rather Nice

    I just got this from European auction and rather like it although with slightly subdued lustre and soft strike on obverse. Any comments?

    The fields remarkably free of hairlines, rub or defects.

    Nice! I've seen the 1897 peso issue. I didn't know there was a previous issue. Looks like the same weight, just yours has a much higher silver content!
