1891 CC Morgan, VG08-VG10 Detail?, 3 Gouges on Face.

    Definitely a details grade, besides the 3 gouges, there's 2 rim dings. I'd say it's a VG8 Details.

    So what do the gouges do to the value? 50%?

    Well a problem free VG8 is about a $75-80 coin. I took a look on Heritage, a couple of Details graded VG's all sold for $50 (but those were certified). For your coin I would say somewhere around $35-$45 is a fair price, if your looking to sell it, your best bet is eBay.

    With the bidders on eBay, I could easily seeing it get bid up to the $50-$60 range.
