Saw this on a 1891 Canada Large Cent I recently picked up, looks like a doubled 1 top lateral? Not seen this documented anywhere that I can find. Doubled 1, MD or PMD?
Just got power back on after a 4 hour outage, major storm here! Here is Her Highness: Sorry, a bit dark. May be able to get a better one tomorrow.
Those are hard to tell, heres a site for you, I'll be back to check tomorrow .. http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=1-cent-1891&years=1-cent-1876-1901
Thanks, Rick, yes that is my favorite Canada coin site. The variety is the common one, Obverse #2, Reverse Large Date, Large Leaf - here is a very good reference in a pdf format that I used to determine: http://www.victoriancent.com/uploads/8/3/9/9/8399962/1891_poster.pdf I will see if I can get a better pic today of the obverse.
