Nice coin Jim. Grade? EF? What's your opinion? I have a 1864 L Snow 4 which is cool like this. Congrats!

 

Great coin, Jim, and almost mark-free surfaces.
I can't give it an EF grade if there are no diamonds on the ribbon. The feather tips are worn and, from the photo, I'd give it a conservative VF 20, without seeing the reverse.

Thanks to all, Just realized I didn't post the rev ( as normal there). Actually on some I don't pay too much attention to the technical grade as much as how well the variety shows and the general appearance of the coin. VF is OK:smile

I had passed over 2 others in the last few months due to low grade, so I was happy to find this one.


Boss, I have bid on a couple of 1864L Snow 3, and Snow 4 and lost out. Maybe it was you huh!:hammer:
