my mother gave me 3 of these coins. i searched the internet for the value of it and i found out that its so damn expensive. but when i scan my coins carefully i found out that there is a marking at the back of the coins "copy #cf0766". i dont know if this is fake or not if i can even sell it. please help me guys thank you
Copy means that it is not the genuine article. It is a modern reproduction of a very rare Morgan dollar and you can legally own or sell it because it is clearly marked COPY per U. S. law. Value is about $5.00 or so. It is probably silver plated.
