    Hi Guys,
I was wondering what i should do with this 1888 seated liberty quarter. I found it going through some coins. I would give it AG as a grade. Should I put in vinegar and hope a San Francisco mint? I have never tried vinegar; only heard about it on the forums.
    Any other ideas?

I'm not sure what good you think that putting vinegar on a silver coin is. I wouldn't if I were you. wash it with soap and water, dry it off with a paper towel. That is probably as good as it is going to get.

  4. It looks fine to me the way it sits right now! 96 years older then I am, a totally trivial, useless fact...

A gentle cleaning for sure, Wouldnt recommend anything harsher then
    Warm water and mild soap!!

The 1888-S quarter is MUCH more common than the 88 philly.
