I just got this coin in this morning, and it's almost everything I'd hoped for. It's very high grade, but had been stored in a cellophane envelope, and that was in a paper envelope. It's been poorly stored and has some light milky oxidation on it, particularly on the obverse.

Is there any hope for it?...NCS?

These pictures are the best I can do right now. I only have a little hundred dollar Kodak Easyshare....and it's not exactly a top shelf camera.

I like it :thumb:. Unfortunately the milky color is probably PVC damage, so your best bet is acetone.

I talked to a friend of mine who's been around this stuff his whole life, and he said that the likely culprit is the glue used on the seam of the old cellophane envelope. I may send it to NCS along with the envelope so they can see what the material was that lead to it's current state of preservation.
