It's numismatic value instead of numeristic(which I don't believe is a word to begin with).

I think that's a P on the reverse at the bottom and if it is, it's not rare with over 20 million made at Philadelphia that year.

However, I see damage on the obverse; gouge behind Liberty's eye, scratch off her lips, and numerous small scratches in the fields, breast feathers on reverse have much wear.

What was that kept in that caused the toning on the reverse to have a circular frame like that? I find that quite neat.

I don't recommend submission as it is low grade, and damaged and wouldn't be worth the fees, shipping and insurance for the value it holds.

I'd give it around melt value.

The 2 pence, you'll have to wait for someone into those to give their opinion on it.

If it were from Philadelphia, there wouldn't be a mintmark. The only mintmarks used from 1878-1904 were CC (Carson City), O (New Orleans) and S (San Francisco). Even after enlarging the photo, I still can't tell for sure, but I think it might be an "S".

I am new to the coin terms. Just going off memory. I thought the coloring was cool also. it was in a metal bezel. Think its called a bezel. Some metal thing all the way around it . I took the metal piece off with a plyers.

The Morgan looks like a 1887-S. I'd agree with BU, it does have some damage, so it's going to be worth right around melt value. It's an interesting coin though, it looks like it was put in the bezel when it was in MS condition. So the majority of the coin shows wear except for the outer portion of the reverse.
