Hey there coin talk, I'd like to hear the forum's opinion on this coin. It appears that the planchet is completely broken on the reverse. I guess this could be post mint damage but it seems like a major planchet flaw. This is a key date in the series. Wondering about your thoughts. I have greatly appreciated the forums advice in the past.

Not broken, but a nice 50% or so laminated planchet.

Key date, shame 'bout the scratches

Wow, look at how much that circulated after it lost a big chunk of itself!

What sort of value does something like this carry? I would imagine it's tough to say since there probably aren't many comps.

Burton Strauss III Brother can you spare a trime?

There is a perfect pair that has been on fleaBay for six months for around $400 - no bites.

There was a single piece for sale for $60 for about four months. No bites. But it's now gone.

Neither of those were key dates.
