I do not know if it is a strike issue or if there are signs of wear in the hair above miss liberties ear, from the picture I do not see much chatter on the cheek, and the breast and the eagles leg looks okeh.
Agree it's AU. Theres some wear on the eagle's right wing, which isn't due to weak strike in that location. Still a pretty nice coin though. Guy~
AU 55 (lack of luster bothers me) from what I can see. AU 55 (lack of luster bothers me) from what I can see.
heres pictures to show the luster and the cartwheelit does have but i can not get this camera to get close shots, but it does show the true color of coin.
see if i can make picture bigger. think i will go buy a better camera, if i go to sell some coins they wont look as good as they shoud with what i got.
AU55 There is slight wear on the hair above the date, on the hair along the hairline below the 'B' in liberty, on the breast of the eagle, and on the talons. It is a beautiful coin.
The hair details around the ear are making me say AU 50, but I think it is just the photos, the reverse of the coin, definately looks MS. Are you going to send it out to be graded, if so, which TPG will you use? JOhn PS, I am not saying that it is an AU 50, just looks that way from the pic.
no i wont send it out to be graded, but i do need to get my camera adjusted before i sell any more coins. the 1886 o is a light strike coin most of them.
