Hey folks, I'm combining these two coins in one thread just to get opinions. The 1885 v-nickel is one coin in an album that someone asked if I was interested in purchasing. They didn't highlight the 1885 but when I saw a coin in the holder I asked for a close-up and this is the best I could get. Granted - for all I know the back of the coin is blank but I've purchased coins from this person before and they've all been legit - so far. I tried to take the photo they sent and play with settings to make the date clear and this is the best I've been able to do. I've looked at quite a few photos just trying to determine if the date looks correct. I found another thread here on Ct about an 1885 that appeared to be an altered 1905. To me - these 8 look ok but I was hoping someone(s) might be willing to offer an opinion based on this junky photo. This 1921-S buffalo is just a simple question - this is a 2-feather variety correct? Thanks in advance for any opinions offered.
The 1885 photo is all I have atm. I have to set up a time to go see the book which I'm trying to do. The 1921-S is an ebay coin that I was looking at
