Hello all, I am hoping to get a bit of help with a coin that I have not been able to get much info on. It is my 1884 obv. 1 Canadian cent. I am really hoping that someone who knows this coin better than me can please offer advice on grade and possible value. I attached a couple pics so that you can see the rim nick. I am wondering if that were enough that a details would be given if I sent it for grading. Do you think its a bad nick? Thanks so much all....Frankp36
I'm thinking F12-F15....but I tend to grade a bit low This site lists it guide price for around $200 http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=1-cent-1884&years=1-cent-1876-1901 My Charest varieties book shows it $149-$165 based on sales (2011 & prior though). some additional info: http://www.victoriancent.com/1884-obverse-1-cents.html Nice Obv#1 example Frank!
