I have a small pile of Morgans that I inherited. Just looking for information, thoughts, suggestions as I'm new to the whole coin game. I'm working on my lighting and photography as I go.

XF. Looks like it was possibly cleaned, and retoned.

IMO, definitely cleaned, looks like a sandy beach.

Looks like there is a fingerprint at 11 o'clock on the obverse.

probably mine... I should use latex gloves when handling the coins, right?

It’s a high mintage Morgan with a common date and mint Mark. Looks authentic, around XF, and natural toning. From these pictures I can’t be sure if it has been improperly cleaned, but if you post some better pictures we can likely confirm. It’s worth some small premium over melt but not much. What are you wanting to do with the coins? Maybe we can advise you.
