1884 indian head penny ms 65 + ?

    You'll never be able to tell if you take pictures in a 2x2. The marks on the plastic reflect and make it look like scratches on the coin.

    was it a box of wheats, indians, or unsorted? cause if you got that in a box of unsorted pennies...

    Positively not DMPL. Not 65. And IMO cleaned. In fact, I would guess polished since you think it is DMPL.

    the reason i said dmpl is cause it bounces light really well and i can see objects reflect in the coin.. out all the pennys that were in this collection this one was eye catching

    That is what I figured. That is why I said it was polished. Here is a DMP for comparison.

    ms65 was overstating this coin but I still im thinking its a ms63 - 64

    In My Opinion.
    I would say it has UNC details but has been cleaned

    how do know if its been cleaned? what are the tell -tell signs? im sure thats been asked a billion times over

    I see no original luster present and the surfaces have a mirror appearance. It might just be the pictures but that's my opinion based on the images provided
